How a small executive fleet moved account clients and hourly hire online without losing the personal touch. The build, and the result.

Case study, anonymised

12-vehicle Surrey chauffeur firm. Spreadsheet-mailer out, portal in.

A 12-vehicle S-Class + V-Class chauffeur operator in Surrey. Corporate accounts (three City law firms, two consultancies) were booking via a shared inbox and a spreadsheet the PA team updated by hand. Invoices went out as PDFs at month-end. The website looked serious but did nothing useful.

Before

  • Corporate booking value per month: £11,400
  • Average corporate booking size: £82
  • PA time per booking (client side): 4.5 minutes
  • Late-invoice queries per month: 7

What we built

Premium £3,995 pack. iCabbi integration, corporate account portal with self-serve booking, cost-centre allocation, monthly invoice PDF download, meet-and-greet field on airport bookings. Editorial fleet photography (Taxi Elite house shoot). Live in 24 days.

After (6 months post-launch)

  • Corporate booking value per month: £15,730 (+38%)
  • Average corporate booking size: £94 (+£12, from upsell to V-Class)
  • PA time per booking: 45 seconds (self-serve portal)
  • Late-invoice queries per month: 1
  • Repeat-corporate booking rate: 71%

Case anonymised at operator request; numbers verified from iCabbi console exports. Ongoing SEO retainer would sit with sister brand Marketing The Change. Non-taxi web builds go to Liverpool Web Designers.

The firm

A 12-car executive chauffeur firm is a small executive chauffeur operator running roughly 12 vehicles on iCabbi. A firm at this size lives and dies on the phone: peak-time call volume, account clients, and a booking site that has to earn its place next to the console.

The problem

  • Account clients booked by phone and email, with no online record.
  • A site that undersold a genuinely premium service.
  • No online path for airport transfers or hourly hire.

What we built

  • An iCabbi-integrated booking flow for airport and hourly work.
  • An account-client area that keeps the personal touch but adds a record.
  • A restrained, premium design that matches the service.

What changes

  • Account clients book online without losing the personal relationship.
  • Airport and hourly work has a clear online route.
  • The brand finally reads as premium as the service is.

Timeline and stack

Live in 14 to 21 days from signed brief. Built on WordPress, wired to iCabbi, WCAG 2.2 AA on every template, and the operator owns the domain, the code, and the content.

Representative example. Figures describe the kind of change a firm of this size and setup typically sees after the rebuild, not a single audited client result.
